“Rare are many” – February 29 is Rare Disease Day

300 million people worldwide live with a rare disease. Rare Disease Day is celebrated each year on the last day of February to raise awareness of rare diseases and improve access to treatment and care for those affected, and their families.

At innotio, we are passionate about working to support people with rare conditions and raise awareness of such diseases.

With long-lasting relationships with experts in the field of several rare conditions such as Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Lysosomal Storage Disorders (LSDs), and Von Willebrand Disease (VWD), we hope that the programs, we help our clients design and execute, will make the world better and provide patients who need it most with long-term solutions.

As part of our social commitment, innotio supports the Malteser initiative “Mädelstreff”, encouraging displaced girls and young women. One of our activities for the Rare Disease Day was an engaging and memorable workshop to raise awareness for people with rare conditions.

Our team is proud to be active in supporting raising awareness on Rare Diseases and on February 29, 2024 we will spread the voice… because “Rare are many”.
